Siemens licenses Atelier TSY
telephony subsystems for Series 60 smart
phones
Atelier telephony software integrated in
Siemens’ mobile devices based on Series
60 and Symbian OS

Atelier, the leading provider of
wireless software solutions for Symbian
OS, today announced that Siemens
Information and Communication Mobile has
licensed Atelier’s TSY telephony
subsystem for the Series 60 Platform
running on top of Symbian OS.
Telephony subsystems are a critical
software building block of Symbian-based
phones. Atelier’s offering includes TSY,
CSY and DSY that reduce time-to-market
of Series 60 phones by providing
complete telephony integration to
handset manufacturers. Under the
agreement, Atelier has optimized its
software components for integration in
Siemens’ Series 60 smart phones.
