C/C++ Software Engineer for Open OS-based mobile phones

Job Role:
You have a solid C/C++ development experience. You will design, implement, integrate and test applications, drivers, middleware and/or software components for next generation mobile phones.


Applicants' Requirements:
You have a minimum 2 year experience in C/C++ object-oriented, preferably on a mobile or PDA platform and solid practice of associated development tools (Visual C++, Carbide, CodeWarrior, Eclipse, ...). Good practice of the English language is a requirement.

You may be involved in one of the following areas: cellular platform protocols and interfaces (3GPP, AT, etc.), mobile digital TV (DVB-H, ESG, etc.), Voice over IP (VoIP, SIP, etc.), security and crypto (DRM, PKI, etc.), audio and video codecs, user interfaces and more.
 

Ideally (Preferred qualifications - experience in one or more of the following areas)  
Software development experience with Symbian OS (S60, UIQ, MOAP,...)    
Software development experience with another mobile framework: Windows Mobile, BREW, TTPCom Ajar, Trolltech QTopia, Palm, Access Linux Platform, Open Handset Alliance Android    
Experience in embedded and/or real-time programming      

Experience with key wireless protocols (3GPP, GSM, UMTS, CDMA)

   
Familiar with main multimedia (MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, AAC, JPEG, RTSP, RTP, RTCP) and communication standards (IP, TCP, UDP, ...)    
Working experience with debugging tools (JTAG, TRACE32, GDB, ...)      
Working experience with configuration managamement tools (Perforce, CVS, ...)      
Working experience with defect tracking systems (BugZilla, Team Track, ...)      
Experience with ARM-based hardware platforms (TI OMAP, Freescale, STMicroelectronics, Intel, ...)      
Experience with cellular chipsets and wireless protocol stacks (TI, Qualcomm, EMP, Freescale, Infineon, Philips, TTPCom, ...), AT Commands. You have implemented a TSY, a RIL and/or communication protocols.      
You have worked for mobile phone manufacturer, semiconductor vendor, design house or mobile software component vendor    
Fluent English Language
